It's been half a semester under the "mentorship and artistic direction" of Darryl in my Oil Painting class, and Monday afternoon was a moment of major accomplishment... I received my first ever, real, heartfelt positive and appreciative remark from Darryl in regards to my painting. Here's the trophy winner!
I owe my greatest thanks to a lunch time conversation with a friend that got me so steamed I smacked paint on my 2 x 4 foot canvas for two hours, and ended up with a professor-acclaimed piece of artwork!
