#17: The Little Things

The simplest of pleasures have the ability to make me rediculously happy... a few recent ones:

* wool socks after a day in high heels
* Lay's BBQ potato chips
* 7 foot sunflowers finally blooming by my front door
* new organic, biodegradable shower cleaner
* a smile from a stubborn student
* puppies
* small words of affirmation
* a perfect sunset with a special someone
* surprise Tim's double-double on my desk at work
* -3C in the morning, 32C by mid afternoon
* hot towels from the dryer
* mom's cookies
* girly giggles with my sister
* mango smoothy
* the smell of rain IN my classroom

Let it be the little things in life that bring light to your eyes, lift your spirits, and make the world seem just a little bit warmer, because even the big things you're waiting for won't look as bright without the little things.
